Celebrate Mom

A Modern Day Hero

Moms. Our biggest fans, strongest supporters, and faithful friends. A shoulder to cry on, lap to sit on, and hand to hold. Moms do it all and are always there for the ones who love them most. Even during challenging times or difficult diagnoses, moms persevere.

On this Mother’s Day, we want to celebrate the mom in your life. The mom who just received a devastating diagnosis. The mom who goes to radiation day in and day out and not once complains about the treatment. The mom who lost her battle to breast cancer but put up an incredible fight. The mom who tucks her little girl into bed hoping and praying that she will not have to battle breast cancer one day too. The mom who hears, “there is hope for you” and believes it. The mom who recently rang the cancer free bell with the biggest smile on her face. The mom whose life has been changed because of research happening at the Vera Bradley Foundation Center for Breast Cancer Research.

Here at the Foundation, we work for all mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, roommates, and friends. We are working for a future where women can live long, fulfilling lives past their diagnoses. We are working for the moment when a breast cancer diagnosis is an inconvenience, rather than a life altering event. We are working for a future free from breast cancer.

On today of all days, we want to honor and remember all moms; may we celebrate their strength, courage, and beauty. To make an impact in the lives of women and moms across the country, donate today. Together, we make a difference!
