Sources of Income

(Updated January 2009) — The Vera Bradley Foundation is an incorporated 501(c)(3) entity, and is wholly independent from Vera Bradley Designs, Inc. A seven-member board of directors oversees the foundation's activities.

Vera Bradley Designs, Inc. is solely responsible for the salary and benefits of the foundation staff. No Vera Bradley Foundation funds support human resources or office operation expenses.

Research is funded through several venues:

The annual Vera Bradley Golf and Tennis Classic is the Foundation’s primary fundraiser.

Additional support is provided through:

• Turn the Town Pink or general donations
• Twirly Birds Pink, Loves Me ..., Hope Garden and Pinwheel Pink product sales
• Donations from Vera Bradley sales consultants and retailers
• Foundation fundraising events across the country
• Tickled Pink Toast & Tour

Total proceeds from all sources have reached more than $10 million since 1994.
