Pasadena, California (January 8, 2009) —
The new year is off to a great start for Vera Bradley, as the morning of January 1, the Tournament of Roses Rose Parade® awarded our float the Director’s Award for Outstanding Artistic Merit in Design & Floral Presentation!
The float, designed and built by Festival Artists Worldwide, and entitled “Hope Grows,” depicted a floral garden with Vera Bradley Spring 2009 designs “growing” from the garden. Prominently featured on the float was Hope Garden, Vera Bradley’s newest color to benefit breast cancer research. Ten percent of the net proceeds from Hope Garden will go to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer and other breast cancer projects and services.
