We celebrated two important anniversaries in the past year: 25 years of Vera Bradley handbags and 15 years of raising funds for breast cancer research! While we’ve enjoyed every step of the journey, these past few years have been the most fulfilling and exciting.

According to our dear friend Dr. George Sledge, co-director of the Vera Bradley Center for Breast Cancer Research Laboratories at the Indiana University School of Medicine, scientists have made more advancements in breast cancer research in the last five years than in the history of modern medicine! Breast cancer remains a formidable opponent, but we can say with confidence that our commitment to put an end to it remains steadfast.

Based on this shared vision, our commitment has allowed us to foster a unique circle of friends that has gone beyond our greatest expectations. The development of one of the best and most promising breast cancer research teams is a tribute to your steadfast dedication.
