Star of Hope Quilt: Blooming Hope Along the Heritage Trail

Elkhart, Indiana — We’re wishing on a shooting star of hope for a cure for breast cancer – and so is fabric artist Diana Bennett whose latest quilt creation, “The Star of Hope,” features Vera Bradley’s new breast cancer awareness color, Tea Garden, in the shape of a star.

The Star of Hope Quilt is a part of the annual Hope Along the Heritage Trail hosted by the Elkhart County Convention & Visitors Bureau. Come May, it will be realized in a supersized quilt garden at the Wellfield Botanic Gardens in Elkhart, IN. With 100,000 plus glorious blooms, 19 gigantic gardens and 18 super-sized murals at 27 different locations, the quilt garden is a must-see work of art.

Bennett’s unique handcrafted quilt will be touring stores in the Elkhart area through August. And, you can enter for a chance to win this quilt by making a donation at participating retailers. See The Star of Hope Quilt and enter to win through September at the following locations:
