Vera Bradley Classic Heads to Charlotte this Fall

Charlotte, North Carolina — The Vera Bradley Classic, the largest all-women amateur golf and tennis charity event in the country, will head to Charlotte, North Carolina for the first time, October 15, 2012. The event joins the popular Classic in Fort Wayne, which is in its 19th year.

Proceeds from the event will continue to benefit the Foundation, which has contributed $15 million to breast cancer research to date.

“North Carolina is the perfect venue for the Classic,” says Event Coordinator Rochelle Dearman. “With the popularity of the Vera Bradley brand, the welcoming southern atmosphere, and love of both tennis and golf here, it’s a natural progression to extend the event to the area.”

The golf tournament will offer teams of four the opportunity to play 18-holes at a renowned, historic golf course. While the tennis events will include doubles matches on clay courts.

Registration opens in April.
