Local Hockey Teams Donate Funds to the Foundation
Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 3, 2010) — The Fort Wayne High School Hockey League presented a special check to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer Wednesday, June 2. The league raised $4,500 in their second year of hosting their "Stick it to Cancer Night" with T-shirt sales, a silent auction and a sponsorship from Texas Roadhouse.

The league held their "Stick it to Cancer Night" in February at the new Canlan Ice Sports complex. Fans were able to tour the center, meet Komets player Eddie Long and cheer on the teams.
