Party in Pink With Us!
Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 31, 2009) — Great party, fabulous company, live music … what could be better? Enjoying all that fun for a good cause! On October 2, hundreds of women dressed up pretty in pink will get together for the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer’s sixth annual Tickled Pink party, a girls’ night out to raise funds for the Foundation and breast cancer research.
American Idol finalist Michael Johns will also join us for a live performance and to meet and greet guests.
Last year, more than 400 women, including Australian pop star Delta Goodrem, attended the ladies-only event raising more than $40,000. (See photos).
“Tickled Pink is a chance to celebrate our girlfriends who battle breast cancer as well as those who are committed to ending it,” says Catherine Hill, executive director of the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
The Foundation will host the event at Vera Bradley’s distribution center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The evening will include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres donated by local restaurants as well as a silent auction. Guests will also have the opportunity to speak with Vera Bradley Chair in Oncology Dr. Linda Malkas and other Indiana University Simon Cancer Center researchers and clinicians about the latest breast cancer research developments. And all ladies will get a sneak preview of Vera Bradley’s 2010 collection and will walk away with an exclusive gift!
Tickets are available for $75 and are expected to sell out. Register for tickets online or call Lisa at (260) 207-5198.
