The Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer had more participants and volunteers than ever. The record-breaking amount raised will be the second payment on a $6.8 million pledge to the Indiana University Cancer Center.

2006

The Foundation announced its third and fourth pledge to the Indiana University School of Medicine and the naming of The Vera Bradley Cancer Research Laboratories. A pledge for $2 million in new endowment dollars and $4.8 million in project funding will be completed by 2014. This will bring the foundation’s total gift to Indiana University Cancer Center to $10 million.

2005

Net Proceeds:
602,645 raised for breast cancer research. $450,000 of this amount completes the five-year $2 million pledge to create the Vera Bradley Center for Breast Cancer Research at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis (two years ahead of schedule). The remaining $150,000 will be used towards the next breast cancer research-related pledge.
