Local volleyball teams ‘Pink Out’ for a cause

Fort Wayne, Indiana — The University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and the volleyball teams of the Mid-Central College Conference teamed up to promote breast cancer research and awareness with a series of “Pink Out Night” games in October, National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Pink Out is a conference-wide, month-long initiative in which all proceeds of the night's game went to benefit the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer. The teams wore special pink jerseys to show their support. Fans even work pink, too! For details about each game, visit mid-centraconf.org.
