Dr. Linda Malkas featured in two major publications
Fort Wayne, Indiana (October 29, 2008) — Dr. Linda Malkas, the Vera Bradley Chair in Oncology at Indiana University School of Medicine, was recently featured in two publications for her recent research accomplishments. Appearing on the cover of Indiana Business magazine (July 2008), Dr. Malkas’ discusses her new company CS Keys, which was recently awarded the Mira Award, the top honor in Indiana for Innovation of the Year. She began the company in order to translate her biomarker discoveries into a cancer blood test kit. The goal is for the kit to be available in doctor’s offices.
Dr. Linda Malkas also recently appeared in Guidepost magazine wearing her Vera Bradley lab coat! The spirituality-based publication invited her to write a personal essay as part of a special cancer series. The article also highlights products in Pinwheel Pink.
